Following is the Chang’an University Application procedure for the CSC Scholarship 2024
chang’an university csc scholarship 2024 deadline
Chnag’an University has two application cycle
- The first batch started from 1st Nov 2023 to 31st January 2024. All majors are available in the first batch
- The second Batch started from 1st February to 31st March 2024.
There are limited majors available to apply see the list of majors available in the second batch.
- Transportation Engineering
- Logistic Engineering and Management
- Geological Resources and Geological Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Business Administration
The first batch has more quotas. If the applicant is not selected in the first batch he/her application is automatically entered in the second batch selection.

chang’an university international students
Eligibility:
- Students must be non-Chinese citizens.
- Bachelor’s candidate should have a minimum HSK 4(180).
- If a Master’s and PhD candidate select Chinese-taught programs, they must have at least HSK 5(180).
- One-year Chinese language course if you do not meet the minimum language requirements.
- If you want to study without the Chinese language then you must have HSK 4(222) for a Bachelor and HSK 5(180) for the Chinese-taught program MS and PhD.
- You can apply with an English Proficiency Letter from a previous university to demonstrate that you have good English

- 25 years for bachelor applicants
- 35 years for Master candidates
- 40 years for PhD scholars

What will the scholarship cover?
- You don’t need to pay the registration fee, tuition and fee for accommodation
- You will get a Monthly Living allowance:
- Bachelor’s degree students: RMB2,500.
- Master’s degree students: RMB 3,000.

Application Documents:
- Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship
- Copy of Passport Home Page
- Notarized copy of highest diploma or degree certificate. Those students who are currently enrolled or don’t have an original degree must submit official proof of student status. You can upload a Provisional certificate as proof of student. If your documents are not in English or Chinese then you have to attach a notarized translation in English or Chinese.
- Transcripts (from undergraduate to onwards). If you are in the last semester and graduate soon then from the first to last semester results card. Result cards shall be issued and sealed by the university. Don’t upload student portal screenshots. They can be in English or Chinese and must be notarized. If your documents are not in English or Chinese then you have to attach a notarized translation in English or Chinese. Your score is not less than 80, if you have some publications, awards, or certificates then you can apply with a 78% score.
- Language proficiency certificate. If your major is Chinese-taught then you must upload a valid HSK score. Candidates for the English-taught program shall provide language proficiency certificates like IELTS etc and you can also apply without IELTS if you have an English proficiency certificate from your previous university to demonstrate your English skills.
- A brief Study plan/research proposal [Extremely important]. A study plan written in English or Chinese and should be more than 500 words. Your proposal should be focused and brief with academic background, research field description, and the future research plan. A brief introduction to why you want to study in China and Chang’an University reasons and an understanding of China and Chang’an University are also included in the proposal. The proposal must be signed by the Chinese supervisor of the candidate.
- Two recommendation letters [Extremely important]
- Foreigner physical examination form
- No-criminal record certificate
- Additional documents such as:
- Honours and awards, Certificates, Cultural and sports activities [Extremely important]
- Acceptance letter from Chinese supervisor [Extremely important] for Master and PhD candidates. How to find a supervisor visit.

Admission Procedure
[First batch]
- Selected students will be contacted via the E-mail box of the online registration platform of Chang’an University before 31st March
- The student will be recommended to the CSC Scholarship for review.
- Candidates who pass the scholarship committee review will be published on the Website of the International Education School and sent a notification via Email before 30th June.
- The Admissions Office will make the Admission Notices and Visa application forms (JW201) for successful students in July.
Zhengzhou University CSC Scholarship
[Second batch]
- Selected students will be contacted via the E-mail box of the online registration platform of Chang’an University before 31st May
- The student will be recommended to the CSC Scholarship Committee for review.
- Candidates who pass the scholarship committee review will be published on the Website of the International Education School and sent a notification via Email before 31st July.
- The Admissions Office will make the Admission Notices and Visa application forms (JW201) for successful students in August.
